I decided to google my own name, mostly because I just released it to a man I met on eharmony. I wanted to see what came up with my own name! Imagine my surprise to see a young woman named Christine Lukasik, like me. I am Christine Lukasik, a drinking water engineer living in Colorado. I love to hike, bike, ski and other outdoor activities. I used to kayak until my scared myself in the Grand Canyon 20 odd years ago and a plate and six screw in the shoulder limits some events these days. I have never met anyone with my own name! I am 2nd generation polish, born in Chicago.

Hi Christine -
I need a bit of a spur to get me moving this season. Apart from your marathon, your goals are pretty much the same as mine for this year - would you consider acting as my other-side-of-the-world training partner? Keep an eye on me and my schedule, and I'll do the same for you . . . and we may even both reach our goals this year?
Let me know what you think.
Karl.

True - true.
Yep - I do it in places with mirrors - which is why I have the annoying and give-away clue of the stall in the background. I have the camera phone in my right hand out of frame and usually look at the camera reflection in the mirrior so it looks like I'm looking into the camera. For this one I'm not looking at it but I liked the expression. I also may have cropped the camera out of the shot in this one - I can't recall.

You could have lied and said locker room, we'd never have known ;-)

Do you do it in places with mirrors? Is that the deal? Or do you prop up your phone somehow? I cannot figure out the angles to guess where the camera is for this photo.

Of course! .....odd. But it's a picture of me that I don't hate - also odd. For some reason when I'm early for an appointment I always head to the bathroom. If I notice that my hair looks all right or something sometimes I'll hang out in there and shoot pictures of myself with my cameraphone to see if I can get one I don't hate. Sometimes I do, but the downside is that it's clear that it was taken in a bathroom. Was hoping the audience here would assume it was a locker room!
