I’ve seen someone riding one of these… along the Burke Gilman Trail… but not at the speed shown in the photo you linked to… no… they were much more casual about it.

Nope - haven’t tried one, never seen one, and think they look hard work / lethal. Put like that, it might be fun . . .
Inspired by this, I did some digging around youtube for video footage, and came up with a surprising array of other bike variants that you might also want to try.

The kicksled looks like fun. The kickbike reminds me of my 8th grade Earth Science teacher who used to crosscountry ski through town with wheels attached to his skis, kind of like rollerskates.
